It takes forever for my shower to get hot, so I'm convinced that my hot water heater is just across the street!  

I've been thinking about the waste water that goes to waste when I turn my shower on and wait for hot water. I'd never jump in a cold shower. Thus, I came up with a kit that allows me to collect and reuse this water in my garden easily. Installing and using it is easy. 

For my own shower, it takes approximately 2.5 gallons of cold water to get the warm water. The average shower you take every day wastes 17.5 gallons of water per week, 70 gallons per month, or 840 gallons per year. In fact, I have three showers in my home, which means I can easily save 2700 gallons of water a year!  That's quite an accomplishment! The usage may vary from person to person.
